What to expect
No sign-up, no ID, no conditions — just come as you are. Beyond the meal, our team can connect you to clothing, medical supplies, and referrals to housing and case management through our partner organizations.
Want to get connected to Freedom House, our residential recovery program? Come talk with our team at a meal service, or reach out directly.
Homeless Shelter in Palo Alto
A hot meal is usually the first step, not the whole answer. Here's where to turn for shelter itself.
Street Life Ministries isn't a walk-in shelter today, but our team can connect you directly to one at a meal service, or you can reach out any time through our Contact page. We're also building Freedom House, a twelve-month residential recovery program — the first of its kind between San Francisco and San Jose.
For shelter and case management in Palo Alto specifically, LifeMoves' Opportunity Services Center is a dedicated local resource — see the link in More Resources below. You can also call 211 any time, day or night, for emergency shelter placement.
